Bought an E6600 processor just before Xmas....

... when the consensus of opinion seemed to be that this processor offered the "best bang for the buck" at the time.

I am about to build another PC similar to the one I built at xmas and just wondered if the most cost effective processor around that performance point is still the E6600.

I do not overclock, so performance a stock is the issue.
