Did the deal tonight,

2005 GT
50k
Full honda service history
Bushes checked and re-greased
Recently refurbished alloys
New disks and pads as of 6 months ago
MOT'd and taxed until next year
Recent front end re spray
Hardtop and stand.

Was up for £8900 and I got it in the end for £8300

It does need two new rear tyres soon and the fronts will need done in the next 6 months.

Plans for the future, new exhaust and possibly an intake and I want smooth the front end and remove the light washers.

The pic's!

Thanks guys

How's does the S2k compare to the 350z then man?

I wont be picking it up until Monday or Tuesday so too early to give a full writeup yet. Initial impressions are awesome.

I had a DC2 R for a couple of years and getting back into a vtec engined car just feels right. I did love the zed but at times I found it a bit drama-less...if that makes sense? It was fast and handled well but I felt it just lacked that certain something. For me the S2000 has it.

Turning 30 seems to have helped with quotes. Standard quote with admiral coming in at £620 and that's me not even tried the specialists yet. I've been kicking about in an old 1.25 fiesta and to change the policy to the S2000 its only costing an extra £140. Policy due for renewal in September.

I'll do a half decent writeup soon, got a couple of trips up north planned, Applecross hopefully being one of them.

Are the OEM Bridgestones worth it over the Falken 452's? Seems I can get 4 delivered and fitted for not much more than 2 of the Bridgestones. Everything I seem to read about them is positive. Is it just people trying to justify saving a few quid or are they genuinely good?

Seller is still aiwaiting the V5 from the DVLA after taking his private reg off. The wait is killing me. Two RE050A's ordered for the rear. Going to get an oil change done once I've picked it up, anyone any experience with this oil?

Seems a pretty good price for everything.

Get an FIPK on it asap by the way. Then hear that VTEC howl.

Already decided on the FIPK, will pick one up at some point, it sounds awesome. Got a holiday and and a borked boiler to pay for first though

Sorry for the **** pic, was taken from my flat. Not picked up the hard top stand from the seller yet in case any of you are wondering why it's on. I'll get some better ones soon and a decent write up once I've had it for a while.

I LOVE this car.

The roof will be coming off within the next week once I get the stand and the weather improves. Have to say though I'm very impressed with the hardtop, no squeaks or rattles and it feels very solid with it on. I can imagine it making the winter commute much more bearable. Glad I held out for a GT.

Good luck Ev0, let us know how you get on.
