Bought GTX 470 with Hi Flo Bracket, but no bracket on card

I just bought the GTX 470 Superclocked with high flow bracket model
number 012-P3-1475-AR

But Overclockers have sent me the 012-P3-1475-ER

It says supeclocked on the box, but theres no high flow bracket

have OC sent me the wrong card ?

Should I return it ?

Assuming the only difference is the bracket then give overclockers a call. I'm sure they can sort you out with a bracket.

Well thats just it, i dont know if thats the only difference.

The HardwareCanucks review of the card said there was a number of
small differences.

If its just the bracket thats missing, im not bothered, but if Ive got the wrong
card then the one I bought ie the AR version and not ER then i want
a replacement.

It is the wrong version - theres clock speed differences - im returning it - bah!
Infact thats disgusting of OC cos the AR is out of stock - wasnt when I ordered it
And they have sent me the ER thinking I wouldnt notice!!!

I just phoned OC and they offered me a refund, as they dont plan to get
any more of the 470 in, they also said the model they sent me is the only
one they had in stock.

I havent installed yet, so I dont actually know what the clock speed is.
Im only going by the evga product page. OC said install it and if its not
right i can still return it, so that at least is something.
 
Ye, if you're happy with the card you should see if ocuk will rein-burst you the price difference between the card you should have got and the one you did.
 
Same happend to me, ordered 470 SC with highflow bracket & backplate. I was sent the standard SC edition, so had to buy the bracket and backplate seperatly.

Because you've lost out on the overclock, i would send it back, or get oc to reimburse the extra cash spend over the non sc version.

I too received the ER version but it was overclocked and came with the backplate, just missing the high flow bracket. Finally managed to get a response from EVGA who are going to send one out. Fitting it is another matter since the backplate sits on top of a screw that has to be removed. Since the high flow bracket doesn't seem to do a whole lot I may just leave it as is. We'll see.

OCUK were not particlualrly helpful in this case. One guy told me it was a mistake by EVGA, sent me a replacement which turned out to be the same model, then the next guy told me it was an EVGA board revision. Hmmmm...?
