Hey guys

I just bought myself some webspace. I was going to use a WYSIWYG application, Webplus. But I've decided to skip over that, and I'm fancying trying to build it from the ground up myself.

I know HTML basics, CSS Basics.

But obviously basics can only take you so far.

Can anyone help me with a few things?

A good program for me to code in. Notepad style software I suppose but with some web design features?

Also, Any good tutorial sites, Dont need a step by step as I believe I know enough to put down a good base. I just need a site to go to if I need help with things like resolution management, making a page look good on any resolution, etc.

Any good websites offering javascript? I'm aware i could google this one, But I have and there are LOADS. Would be nice if you could point me to a good one.

what are you trying to do? I'd be more inclined to go down the Wordpress or similiar route...why re-invent the wheel?
 
I think I'm going to just use Webplus, You're right. To be honest, I havent really got the time to sit down and build a site up while learning at the moment anyways. I just thought it would be fun trying lol.
