Bought this today :)

pros

-good stock boost speed
-o/c potential (have seen one person online say they flashed an MSI lighting LN2 bios to the card which unlock voltage control.) risky though. EDIT: don't try this. lol
-cooler is probably good.
-kfa2 has uk-based support

cons
-cooler design may suffer in rv02 (should be fine on stock volts)
-outputs make me rage, worse than reference.

quirks
-the pcb reminds me of old school daleks, or something out of the original star wars.

personally I would've payed £10 extra for the msi lightning.

Enjoy your card!

I had the MSI card in my basket and changed my mind at the last minute because of the colour and blue led just think this card will look better in my case tbh.

Yeah that's cool. Just checking to make sure you're aware you'll need adaptors.

I don't know why people sell high end spec cards like this one with pooey connection sockets.

It can be got round of course but still annoying.

Crazy idea not to include D-DVI.

seriously unlucky :( nothing worse ! My recent purchase of a Sapphire Vapor x 7950 was attempted to be delivered to wrong address, then taken to depot ! Had to drive 40 mile round trip to pick it up on the same night - thought I was going to have to wait :/

hope you get it asap!

I think what happened is the promotional keyring wasn't in stock so they didn't send order but it's sorted now and got free upgrade to before 12 delivery so will get it fitted asap and get clocks up for ya :).

yes, quite why they did all hdmi instead of DP is a complete mystery
they included 300mhz hdmi when no 300mhz receiver displays exist, where at least with DP there are actual monitors actually available with actual DP support

I would have gone for the lightning as well as the main selling point of this card is voltage control and iirc you actually can't control the voltage where as you can on the lightning

Tbh the connectors aside I love this cards look and it is a faster card than the lightning (admittedly not by much) as far as I can see unless you have the older bios on the lightning you can't physically control the voltage, not sure if this has been fixed though so don't quote me on it.

I did really really think about the lightning and also the faster version of this card but the price was just to high on that and the lightning wouldn't really go with the theme of my pooter yellow is sooooo last year baby :).

I'm a big fan of the yellow tbh, but the blue LEDs on the card clash with it. Surely they should've put yellow LEDs..

Of course in most case you can't see the yellow. But for us in the rvo2 is it quite prominent from some angles.
