Bought witcher 3 code from g2a.com. How preload????

As title. Would like to download this today so can play tomorrow when it unlocks. I only have slow broadband so will take ages.

The key I bought from g2a.com isn't for steam. It just says global I think. So, how do I pre load it?

you need to use Gog. Every key bought online unlocks on Good old games. if you want a steam key you need to buy direct from steam.

What the hell is gog? I'll have a look though ta, am on ipad at mo so doesn't make a lot if sense when I look.

I don't have the key code yet from g2a either, will this affect me being able to download it today ?

Well will it or not? Preloading I'm talking about. Certain sites might allow preloads without the need for the key to unlock it. Lots of key sites don't send the key code until actual release day, that's what it said on g2a. I usually buy stuff on steam so I'm in the dark here. Was only £20 on g2a so seemed a bargain.

no site allows preloading of a game without proof of purchase as far as i know (why would they ?). the key is proof of purchase and you need to register the key on gog.com to preload.

So how have some people been preloading this game since last week? http://www.gog.com/forum/general/witcher_3_preload_date

I presume they bought it through this gog site and they got the key early??

You seem new to the internet, welcome! You'll be made to feel at home here.

GoG is owned by CDPR (the developers of Witcher 3). You key can be used there once you've made an account. You won't be able to download the game without a key. People that have already preloaded bought the key directly from GoG or Steam.

or registered a key that came with an nVidia gpu.

I dont know if keys bought from 3rd party sellers will allow preloading. Might have to wait

I have preloaded the key i bought in the MM, came with an nvidia card.
