Shouldn't it be out by now?
It says ' end may ' on their site...

Or do they have a case of chronic Valve-itis? ( delaying things....and again...and again.... )

On the OcUK website it says they are arriving on the 6th.

I am also quite interested in this. I was planning on getting an X-Fi and doing the hotrod mod on it, but if this already has better components on it I may just buy a prelude and not void the warranty.

Does anyone have any reviews on it?

Thought about buying this card, but decided against it seeing as creative are terible at making vista drivers

Cant see that creative will release the driver dev to azentech

I would have assumed that Auzentech would be releasing their own drivers. They were ahead of the game with Vista drivers for their cards anyway so I shouldn't think there's much to worry about.

I am impressed by numbers, trademarks and marketing slogans so the idea of all that stuff on one card makes me go crazy.

Seriously though, I've wanted a card that does live 5.1 encoding for ages so that I can finally use my home theatre system for games and the idea of it being in EAX 5 blows my mind even though I have no idea if it will be worth it.

I wish it was PCI-e though. And does it not have optical out?

eax HD over analogue > DD/DTS encoding limited to eax2.0. if this new card does both i still cant see it being much, if any, of an improvement over the analogue outputs of an xfi

There probably waiting for creative to give them drivers for it :)

im also interested in getting one of these, especially if its DDL and Eax5

The only thing that puts me off this card are the Creative drivers... they are becoming even more bloated than before. I seriously doubt Auzentech will use their own driver... maybe have their own control panel, but beyond that everything else will be the same I reckon.

Just as a little comparison... XFI Vista driver available in March = around 40 meg, most recent release = 51 meg. It gains that much in size, yet is still missing the same features that were lacking from the March driver? What makes it even more of a joke is that the most recent X-Meridian driver for Vista is 6 meg... SIX!
