Sorry if this is against rules but i need some cheap bits for a HTPC. Thinking about going to bowlers in manchester at the weekend


Is it worth the journey or a waste of time? Need a HTPC case and motherboard and some other small bits

Not been for a while but I've built 3 systems for getting bits from there.

I really enjoyed it and you can get everything you want but make sure you get reciepts and ask about returns if someting isnt right! I've never hd issues with hardware from there.

Can save a few quid to be sure.

Worth a look.

Used to be really good for computer jumble, second hand bargains and hard to get bits, connectors etc. The last time I went it was mostly new stuff at mostly near online prices. I have not been for a year or more now but I suspect it is much the same. I did get a bricked hard drive once but it was cheap (and second hand).

You can have a beer while you shop.
