I have my pc connected via DVI to my monitor and my TV connected via HDMI. The idea is to be able to play Black Ops whilst the family watches Boxee or XBMC. I have the sound going through SP/DIF over the HDMI cable. The HDMI cable is connected to the TV via my GTX 295. Sound all works great.

If I use the PC normally it is fine. As soon as I start Black Ops the TV goes black. You can still hear the sound but video is gone. Is there anyway to keep the second monitor going whilst gaming?

On a side note. Keyboard and Mouse does not interfere as I have Boxee and XBMC working iphone remote app.

You could get a cheap second graphics card to output the t.v. I know it doe'snt fix your problem but it would be a workaround.

That is an interesting solution! I suppose it could be any old graphics card as my i7 920 is more than capable. Thanks for the tip! Though I would still like to sort this out with one graphics card.
