I've been enjoying the Olympic boxing as always but a big part of that enjoyment was being able to get live scores on screen.

They have now decided to take that away, leaving the viewer and crowd a bit clueless as to who is winning at what point in the round.
Lenox Lewis and Lineker were talking about it last night and agreed it really takes away the excitement of the last few seconds. Apparently it has something to do with impartial refereeing?

They really need to bring it back as I'm sure they other combat based sports (judo for e.g.) still have them to view.

Well the old scoring system might have been more exciting, but it was a complete disaster in providing accurate results. The new system is much, much better imo, but due to its nature it's not possible to show the scores until the round is over. Overall, I think it's a huge improvement.

I agree with this. I prefer the new system
