Brad Arnold may be somewhat unknown on here, I don't think his band Three Doors Down had major success in the UK. I however do know of TDD and Brad through MPLAYER if anyone remembers that, it was the first time I heard their song Kryptonite by my American friend Travis holding his mic towards his speakers :p. Thee Doors Down first album "The Better Life" was the first album I ever bought with my own money.

Brad was 47 and died of stage 4 kidney cancer - https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/m...old-dead-3-doors-down-lead-singer-1236497981/

Here is Kryptonite if anyone would like a listen.

RIP Brad.

I only know Kryptonite from the magical days growing up with Kerrang TV and Scuzz, there was a live version of it on there if I recall, really like it and this is a sad way to be reminded about it.

I am sure this is the version that was on Kerrang (I recall the "clap your hands my friends")but oddly no video, wonder if they just had some random show footage to go along with it or something, better than the studio version IMO.

I loved "When I'm Gone" and played it a ridiculous number of times over the years - RIP - Kidney cancer took a very good friend of mine at about the same age :(

Kryptonite such a good song, fond memories of blasting away at it on Guitar Hero, so young such a shame RIP

Damn. Enjoy Three Doors Down, but my knowledge of many bands doesn’t extend to the individuals behind them.

RIP :( Kryptonite was one of my favourites after hearing it as a soundtrack to a CS frag movie.
