Braided cables black or blue, help.

I want to pick up some of those BitFenix braided cables for my computer thingamyjig :-) but can't decide between the black or blue ones, I have a MSI Z68A-GD80 (G3) which is black with blue bits on it in a Cosmos II, but I don't know what would look best.

If I go with the black I have the advantage that if the next motherboard I get has different colours it should still work so won't have to replace them, but the blue will potentially stand out in a good way and look cooler.

Does anyone have a rig with the a black and blue motherboard and braided cables here, what did you decide on and do you have pics so I can see, it's not being able to see this that's making it had to decide.

So, to recap we've decided it's one or all three colours, that's one more than I started with, excellent. :confused:

Anyone got or seen a similar colour scheme with the blue braided cables that has a pic?
 
OK, I think I'm going blue (no really I cant breathe :eek:)

I've already got a blue one of the 8 pin extension on the way as a taster, and then I need to get three 6 pin, might go black for the one that goes to the motherboard PCI power as it cuts across it and blue for the two graphics card ones, the 24 pin, and at least 4 satas, expensive so will leave the bottom cables for now plus I can't get a extension for the USB 3 header down there anyway (anyone know what I could do with that, not sure I want to braid it myself), might take the speaker out (do most people not bother attaching them till they have motherboard issues?), and I'll chuck a NZXT Hue into the list for some RGB lighting goodness gracious. :D

PS: Note to future self, I'm spending way too much money again.:rolleyes:

Tbh, you could get a second hand Sabertooth board for less than a set of braided cables and it would make a much bigger difference.

EDIT: To actually be helpful, I'd go with black and then try and keep the blue accents to a minimum, E.G. the fans and RAM and such.

Here is a picture of mine a few weeks back, I've since changed a few cables and removed the drive bays to clean it up more.

I've already spent too much, and I received the blue 8 pin EPS cable and think it looks like the right choice, have most of the rest coming today and tomorrow.

Nice setup your have there though Antony.
