braided cables for superflower PSU

I wanted to get some black, braided cables for this powersupply.

But the only ones I can find look like they will only fit in PSUs with 2x3 slots, but my PSU has 3x3 slots. I guess they might "fit" while leaving the top row empty... But will it work?

Or does anyone know if I can get any specifically for superflower? I cant find anything..

Got a superflower 1000w platinum here, using some custom made braided extensions. Same extensions were previously used on a corsair HX 850. Again no problems.

do you mean extensions to the existing cables, or wires straight from the PSU to component?

Yep, im using extensions that attach to the superflower cables. There currently arent any modular cables available that connect straight to the psu. Superflower previewed some last year at ces, but they dont seem to be available yet.

none of them will work with the superflower psus because of the patent they've got on their psu connectors. the only solution at the minute is to get cable extensions

Damn, that sucks! Would they work with any other non-superflower PSU?

we are working on it but it will for sure not happen before April / May 2015 - trying to get approval from SuperFlower.

Can't wait for this, I know its a slightly old thread but I'm going to buy one of the Superflower PSUs this weekend and I definitely want braided cables.

If you went with the EVGA G2 750W then you can use the Cablemod E-Series Braided cables. With Superflower you are limited to using extensions, braiding your own or wait and see if Cablemod get approval to make custom cables for it.

The G2 is £20 more although you do get the extra wattage, and a stonking 10 year warranty.

Does anybody know of any news on this? Just bought a superflower and I've been looking around for fully fledged cabling rather than extensions which don't seem to exist.
