US: Braindead

Peeked my interest a little, the main woman on the show looks like an older version of daisy/sky from AoS, especially with that hair cut and style. Otherwise the show has some interest but perhaps not enough at this point.

2nd episode was fun, I enjoyed how they recapped the entire episode in a song hopefully it keeps continuing.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead is lovely as always but after two episodes I'm not really feeling drawn in by it. The comical premise is there, but there's very little humour in the writing so far. Hopefully it improves.

Have just finished watching the first 11 eps of this, I didn't really have much else to watch so thought I would give this a go as I liked the cast, it is definitely slow to begin with and its not until about ep 6 that I think it really starts to come together but by ep 11 it is well worth watching.

A senate debate in a later episode about the CDC's use of animals for testing had me in stitches :D Tony Shalhoub who plays Red Wheatus is fantastic with a brilliant accent.

It's been cancelled. CBS only had 3 scripted summer shows including this and they cancelled two and kept one. The one they kept was Zoo, yes you read that right they kept what is probably one of if not the worst show on TV over Braindead. I mean this wasn't amazing but it was decent and Zoo is trash.

A shame as I enjoyed it. But honestly when it ran for a couple of episodes and then vanished for a month it was dead.

A well established show might be able to do that but not a new one that still hadn't really established it's plot or characters at that stage.
