Is this an internet meme? Along the same lines of the black/blue vs gold/white dress? What was Laurel and Yanny?

I heard "brainstorming", but I heard years ago that it's apparently no longer politically correct and you have to say "mind mapping" instead.

I've no idea why though. To me, it's always been brainstorming.

Where I used to work, we sold software called Inspiration. It was regarded as mind mapping software. We weren't allowed to use the word brainstorming due to it being apparently offensive.
