After having my exhaust fitted on Thursday today i just noticed my rear left brake is binding i am assuming that something has been caught when they have installed the exhaust. Is there an easy fix for this until I get back to the garage that fitted the exhaust?

The Rear left wheel is skelping hot and thats after a short journey of 7 miles.

Discs

The car is the 2.0L Petrol 307

I took it for another run , and it gets hot.

Lets just hope its down to the exhaust and not due to somethin else as i really can do without buying new calipers.

If it is the calipers then you dont need new calipers, just get a caliper refurb kit (pistons and seals).

Just looked and brakeparts do refurb kits for £12.25, seal kit for £5.70 and new piston for £16.26

How much meat is left on that corners brake pads compared to the other side and is the car pulling in either direction of you just coast down the road? (i.e. engine running but rolling at 30mph)?

If the brake pads have similar wear O/S - N/S i'd look at something else getting warm..
