A lot of drivers approach junctions and roundabouts expecting to go and then blow when they have to stop. If more people arrived expecting to stop then being able to go would be a bonus. More happy people on the roads

Absolutely...I was taught "approach a hazard expecting to stop, but prepared to go if safe". Too many people approach expecting to be able to go and not ready to stop.
