well not so much rattle and roll but squeak and judder.

I've had the bike for 1000miles now and as this is my first bike I've been quite reserved in my use, i.e.. not much heavy breaking etc. however since day 1 when braking to a stop i get really bad squealing of the brakes and when slightly heavier braking bad judder like going over a cattle grid.

so my question to you guys,

if this normal and they just need to wear in a little more? or have i somehow glazed the pads? or is it something the dealer would have to sort with warranty etc?

Thanks for the help guys.

brand new, 3 weeks old today.

doesn't pull off to one side, but last night the brakes were a little warm on one side, but on the other side they were burning hot.

Either the piston, the pads, or the caliper body is sticking then, which i wouldn't have expected on such a new bike, seeing it's brand new, just pop it back to the dealer to sort, tis a simple enough fix, but tbh, it's not something that you should need to sort so early on in the bikes life, maybe the PDI was a bit lax?.

could be worn disc floats, the clips that hold the outer disc to the inner disc, give the disc a wobble from side to side and back and forth any large movement and they are worn

put a tiny amount of grease on the back of each brake pad to stop the squealing

also worn out brake pads produce judder and squeal esp if they are down to the metal
