The brakes are going to need replacing on the Cayman soon and as eurocarparts has a whopping 30% of brake products atm and I've got some track days planned so I thought I'd get on the task early.

I know there's a couple porsche owners on here and I'm wondering whether to get the textar discs and pads or the pagid ones (£150 cheaper in total). I'm inclined to get the textar set as my logic is they'll perform better being the more expensive model however there's lots of mixed opinions and claims the pagid stuff is fine as they're the same company as textar and are the OEM parts fitted by Porsche.

Secondly there are two types of front brake sensors "pin type" and "horse shoe type", how do I determine which mine are?

Finally will I need to order damping pads or discs or can I just use the existing ones?

Pagid do supply a lot of oem brake kit - just watch though as they do both everyday and high performance stuff. I would imagine any porsche fitment would be the better performing items but it's something to check

Pagid will be fine... A lot of people recommend them who do trackdays aswell as every day driving. Used them on Civic, ST and the VXR and they do a good job at stopping and never felt them fade away.

Once warmed up, there superb with the pagid pads to go with them.

Sure one of the Fiesta ST lot had textar and his fronts disks cracked after a good session on the track?
