Brake Squeal fixed, replace with a rattling noise?

Hello folks, looking for a little advice please.

I have a 1.2 '09 plate Fiesta that recently developed a rather annoying squeaking noise from the front wheels/brakes at slow speeds but this disappeared once the car went past ~30mph. The noise was rather intermittent but would show itself near enough every day with the odd exception.

This weekend it really started to annoy so I jacked up the front of the car and gave the brakes a good clean with a wire brush/brake cleaner before reassembling everything. The pads were about half worn so I refitted these making sure to put the pads back in their corresponding locations and applied some copper grease to the back of the pads.

Went for a test drive this evening and so far touch wood there doesn't appear to be any squeaking (yet) and braking performance seems good/normal, however there is now a very faint rattling sound from one of the front wheels that increases in frequency as the car speeds up. I'm guessing that one of the anti rattle clips isn't retaining one the pads quite as snug as it should be.

Has anybody had this kind of issue before? I don't really have time to take a look at it again before next weekend because of work, but figure I will order some replacement clips to have another go at it then. Alternatively should I not bother with this and just take it to a garage tomorrow to get it sorted asap?

Thanks :)

Thanks for all the help guys. I got some new anti rattle clips delivered from ECP and fitted some new pads with those this morning. Rattle has now gone (:D) so I'm guessing the clips were a little worse for wear as they all seemed to be seated properly in the calliper.

For what it's worth there was nothing else in the box with my new pads, just them on their own.
