Right, on the GT i have a couple of issues related to the brakes. Firstly, when i'm driving along i have an annoying squeaking sound coming from the front (can't decide which one) brakes. It depends on the angle of the steering wheel as to if it squeaks or not, but generally its doing it when the wheel is in the centre to just left. Took it to Kwik fit for a free brake inspection, told him about the issue, he checked for binding brakes, but they weren't, and then put some brake cleaner thing on them. This made my brakes mad, on the way home they wouldn't shut up no matter where i had the steering wheel, i had to drive about 100 miles before they went back to just squeaking when the steering wheel is in the centre. Does anyone have any idea as to what could be wrong?

Also the second issue is that i feel the car pulling to the left a bit, and you can definately feel it when you're going about 80mph and brake.

Cheers for any help

Pulling to the side could be either tracking or binding brakes. Check the calipers are free (sliders are the usual problem, if they dry out the pads aren't applied straight to the disc and one side brakes more than the other)

As for the noise, check the anti-squeal shims are in place on the back of the pads. If it doesn't have them (not all do) slap a load of coppergrease on the back of them.
