Brakes - MTB

Sorry second thread

Have been riding a Giant Trans 4 for a few months now as an entry level bike. The brakes are ofc basic, this weekend i've noticed how actual dog **** they are. Have to really put some pressure on them to stop.

I've changed the pads, doesn't feel like they need a bleed. I bought the bike for the frame so knew i'd be changing stuff about eventually.

Any advice on what i can do... I'm happy to buy a new set eventually, but what to get thats really expensive.

Shimano Deore. If you fancy changing the levers over there even cheaper on Bikediscount/rose. If not their still cheap on CRC.

Unless you had a bigger budget, but shimano is my go to choice.
