OK, some of you may know that I literally just bought and built a brand new PC, using the wonderful help from the people on these forums. To cut a long story short, my computer keeps freezing, under literally no load (just something like internet explorer) and it results in me having to force a shutdown, waiting 10 minutes, trying again, just to have the same thing happen. I don't know why this is. I've done nothing out of the ordinary, and at the beginning my PC was working amazingly. I have't changed anything since then, I haven't ever overclocked, I haven't tweaked. Nothing. But something is just not right recently. What do you guys think it could be?

If the memory you have is this stuff then its designed to operate at 1.8-1.9 volts.
If you havent manualy set the voltage in the bios already then its possibly not getting enougth juice.

Thanks for the heads-up about the voltage, it was only running at 1.5V. I've changed it, and so far it hasn't frozen, but is now running much more slowly than it did at first. Any ideas?

Cpu-z check what speed ur at and what the timings should be, then if there incorrect (ull tell by cpu-z as well) then pop to bios and alter em.

Erm, I really can't tell, are these ok???

DRAM Frequency: 535.1 MHz
FSB: DRAM: 3:8
CAS# Latency (CL) 7.0 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD): 7 clocks
RAS# Precharge (tRP): 7 clocks
Cycle Time (tRAS): 16 clocks
Bank Cycle Time: (tRC): 27 clocks
Command Rate (CR): 1T

CL 7-7-7-20
So your settings look ok tho tras i think should be 20. Tho not sure. Also 2t is better than 1t for speed.

Also ur ram doesnt seem to be running in 1333 speed as its on a divider.

select the feature with the arow keys and select the right setting. should work. sorry i cant help more. but thanks for bringing it to m attention as i will be using that ram too
