Brand New LG G4

Hi All,
Yesterday morning I took possession of a very expensive 55 inch LG G4 TV. All went well and all my hardware was accepted and the picture quality is brilliant. I switched off all my equipment and went out for an hour. On returning I switched back on but all there was was a flashing red light and not a picture in sight. I contacted my sellar and they told me to contact LG and as soon as I told the person of my problem he gave me reference number to contact my sellar to get the TV picked up which I did. On informing the sellar of the number she checked with LG and all was fine. According to the e-mails I have I will be getting a replacement or my money back on 26th July. Luckily i still have the C3 to fall back onto but as soon as I get the new tv the C3 will be sold to a family member. On checking various websites I found that there is a huge problem with a flashing light with the G4. I am seriously thinking of purchasing the C4 when all is sorted. It was suprising when I contacted LG and there was no long questioning about the G4 he gave me the exchange number right away and this got me thinking that they know about this problem with the C4 and have for a long time.

Things have progressed my sellar has now contacted me and the lg g4 will be picked up on Wed 17 Jul and I have picked a Sony Bravia 7 XR70 55 inch HD Mini Led and again will be dropped off on Wed. I will also be getting a refund of the money I paid for the LG G4 minus the Sony set. So at the moment will be glad when wed comes.

I know the G4 was faulty, but that's a downgrade IMO unless you have a very bright room?

Off-axis viewing angles on those sets are poor as well.

The flashing red light is that LG used a lower capiticator than it should have in the motherboard. LG has know about this problem for quite some time and done nothing about it. I decided never again to get an LG and upon further research found that the Sony is the next best thing. This problem with LG is worldwide and a person from the USA returned 7 monitors all with the same problem. My sellar has been brilliant and the G4 will be picked up on Wed along with the new Sony for me. When AO get the G4 back I will get a refund of my monies which they will owe me.If I had known about the problems from the start then I would have not bought the G4.
