Hey guys, I'm brand new to PC gaming so apologies if I sound like the biggest noob ever as I haven't a clue about much.

Been Xbox since I can remember but looking to get into PC gaming now.

I'm wanting to play Tarkov, Fifa and COD smoothly and at a decent FPS, so if anyone could advise me on what to purchase build/hardware wise Id be very appreciative.

I was looking at something like this ..

hey there, pretty decent rig, are you planning on building it yourself?

Was just going to purchase from OC, does it come unassembled? If so then I'd be looking for someone to build it but from what I can see on the website it comes ready to go?

What resolution will you playing at?

What FPS do you consider "decent"? There's a big difference between 60 and 240 :)

Comparison spec for if you built it yourself:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £2,070.83 (includes delivery: £11.98)

(Use of CPU's box cooler assumed)

Okay so how about that graphics card you recommended, on top of the PC I linked and getting rid of the optional extra SSD to lower overall cost?

Is there much difference between the 7600 & 7700?

Sorry for the dumb question if its super simple, Im not sure about all this.

As high as possible within the 2k budget I guess?

Thanks for the recommendations however I haven't a clue how to build a PC myself (nervous laugh)

Have a look at this page, it shows you the average FPS across all games in their test (25), each individual game is in the bar chart above the graphs. Resolutions included: 1080p, 1440p and 4K.

"All games are set to their highest quality setting unless indicated otherwise."

Okay so how about that graphics card you recommended, on top of the PC I linked and getting rid of the optional extra SSD to lower overall cost? the 7900XT is faster than a 4070 for sure, its even faster than a 4070ti ... just having a 500GB SSD not great, but you can always add later, its easy and cheap.

Is there much difference between the 7600 & 7700? in games, no not much, extra 2 cores on 7700 maybe better for futureproofing?

Sorry for the dumb question if its super simple, Im not sure about all this. its not really that simple so no question is dumb around these parts, lots of folk here to help!

@zmsc ... this shows benchmarks between AMD 7600 & 7700 cpu's, close eh? both very good gaming chips. *OOPS* they are 'X' type cpu's, but you can still see what i mean.

@zmsc not to be patronising but are you playing this on TV or are you looking for a monitor as well? If you are, have you budgeted extra for this or would it be included in the budget of £2000?
