Afternoon folks, and please ignore the user name
.
I have installed a new timed extractor fan and it refuses to run.
First thing I did was install an isolator switch with a permanent live as the old one wasn't timed, wired into the pull cord of the shower, not an electric shower.
I have power in both the switched live and the permanent live at the fan, so thought bad neutral. Crawled around attic space and checked all neutrals good.
Took power direct to fan from a socket and fan did not work so I'm assuming faulty unit but before I head back to the suppliers I wanted to throw it out there incase I missed something.
All suggestions appreciated.
