Hi guys,

I'm sure you have had this a lot and i'm sorry for that.

I'm brand new to pc gaming and have been doing a look around and i'm just after advice about a setup i have been recommended.

Build Your Own
Processor
1 x 4.2GHz AMD FX-4170 4-Core CPU £134.99
Motherboard
1 x Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P Motherboard £44.99
Graphics Card
1 x AMD ATI Radeon HD 7770 1GB Graphics Card £125.49
Memory
1 x 8GB Kingston 1333MHz RAM £39.99
Hard Drive
1 x 1TB (1000GB) Sata III Hard Drive £71.99
Case
1 x Galaxy Bubble Gaming Case £32.99
Optical Drive
1 x 24x DVD-RW Optical Drive £16.99
PSU
1 x Xigmatek 500W PSU £34.99
Cooling
1 x Standard Manufacturer Heatsink Fan £0.00
Operating System
1 x No Operating System Needed £0.00
Warranty
1 x 1 Year Standard Warranty £0.00

All this is £503.42 is this a good deal is it decent stuff for the money. I know there is no OS. I have no experience in building pcs so thats not really and option to me. I would like to just order it and plug it in.

Any advice is welcomed also any links to better systems for similar money would be great.

Regards

Jonathan.

Thanks for your help. Sorry i didnt realise i couldnt talk about other companies here. No problems.

I really wouldnt know where to start or what to order to get the best out of my system.

Is the one you linked better the the specs i stated? How is it? Would it be worth spending an extra £20 and getting the next graphics card up? Is delivery included in the price also.

How would i go about finding out the best parts if i wanted to build it myself.

If you ask in the General Hardware department we can explain how to put it together, give you some video tutorials and information about the current hardware.

Yes the one I linked is better. And its your money, if your going to upgrade the graphics then the 7850 2GB is best but the 1GB is still good.

And no delivery is not included.

Assuming you were going to get the above that bacon suggested. here is a comparison of what you could get if you built it yourself. so say with titan machine - OS, + GFX card

that comes to £610 + £12.50 shipping = £622.50

or for £25 more you can get the below (inc shiiping)

extra 500 GB hdd
Better motherboard
I5 Processor instead of I3
Modular PSU

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £184.99
1 x MSI HD 7850 Twin Frozr III OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Cards w/ Nexuiz, Sleeping Dogs & Dirt Showdown PC Games £161.99
1 x Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £84.98
1 x OCZ ZT 550W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power Supply £63.98
1 x Toshiba (7K1000.D) 1TB SATA 6GB/s 32MB Cache - OEM (DT01ACA100) £59.99
1 x Xigmatek Asgard Pro Gaming Case - Black £34.99
1 x GeIL Black Dragon 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (GD38GB1600C11DC) £28
1 x OcUK 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £13.99
Total : £647.92 (includes shipping : £12.50).

If you wanted to stick with I3 processor could upgrade the GFX card.

EDIT**

Almost forgot to mention

buying componants and building yourself also = long warranty. ATM that titan has 1 yr warranty. most parts have 3 years. if not 2.
