Not sure if its going to be many peoples cup of tea around these parts but.... I was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of place to get CD's from and more importantly what there called (names of artists ect).

dj warhead - breakbeat revolution .

the guy has a free download of the mix on his site if youre interested. its what first got me listening to breaks, now i listen to the di.fm breaks channel.

i would also like some artists that play some phat breakbeat anyone please. Like the sort of stuff with some mad electronic breaks
ie waaaarrp waaarp if that makes any sense

You can't have a thread like this without mentioning The Plump DJ's. You should check out their mixmag Breakbeat Annual. Finest mix I've ever heard from start to finish.

I'd also agree that Hybrid are well worth checking out.

A couple of other reccomendations would be Eddy Temple Morris, Krafty Kuts and Evil 9, all of which are pretty damn amazing.

As for where to get them from: If you want cd's, most will be in HMV or little backstret record shops. Quite a few mix's are available legally for download from various places though.

Pretty much everyone mentioned in my post was present at the Glade too.

Pretty much anything from Distinctive Breaks/Y4K. Especially any Tayo mixes.
