Breakdown cover

Ok due to a nice weekend of my pride and joy sitting on the back of a picukup truck costing me a nasty £150, im also at the time i need to get new breakdown cover, theres a company called First Call who came up as the cheapest on moneysupermarket.com at £42 for their full cover, has anyone used these people before? what are they like, can you reccomend me a better option of who to go with, currently with the RAC

Who do you bank with? I get full breakdown cover as part of my Lloyds TSB banking package.

Anyone through your insurance? Mine is only £25 with recovery through them. Used it once and they were great, no different to the AA. Check you don't get charged a surcharge for using the service through, heard a rumour some firms do this.

Having used the AA, RAC and Green Flag in the past, I would use the AA given the choice. Unfortunately I was given RAC cover with my car, so have another 11 months of that cover before I take out the AA cover again.
