Evening all,
It's time to renew my breakdown cover on the work-Horse (currently Elephant policy-car only) & i'm trying to suss out who matches my needs best.
If I take the AA & the Relay option they state that:
"If your car can't be fixed quickly or easily, Roadside Assistance will take you to the nearest suitable repairer. But what if you're a long way from home…?
If you add Relay we can take you, your vehicle and up to seven passengers home or to any UK destination of your choice. This could be somewhere you need to get to, a garage you know, or just safely back home."
Does that read that if it's a garage repair jobby and i'm +50 or +100 miles away they will happily transport myself & the car home? No quibble?
Does anybody have experience of this with the AA, RAC, Greenflag etc?
Basically I'm after a package that will cover myself in both my cars & will get them transported HOME from anywhere in the UK should a breakdown occur, NOT to a local garage.
Many thanks for your help on this, I think I've re-written this thread about twenty times!
