What are your guys opinions? just had a new one fitted to my Celica and i have heard differing opinions. on one hand people say you should break it in by warming it up and cooling it down often, others say you should just baby it for 500 miles and not take the car past 4/5k revs.

thoughts?

Mine was driven hard from the moment I picked the car up on it's new clutch...had no clutch related problems in the ~5k miles I did in it. :p

It must be said I didn't do any hard launches or anything though for a couple thousand miles, initially due to the new car and distances I was driving I was wafting about rather than abusing the clutch...just abusing the rest of the car. :p

When I had the new uber clutch on the mx5, I kept it off boost for the first 500 miles. It was the most difficult thing I had to do.
