Breaking Point - Standalone Thread (Was an Arma III Mod)

Creators of Breaking Point, a popular zombie mod for military shooter Arma III, decided to make a standalone version of their game. According to the information provided on Steam forums, Breaking Point Standalone is going to be based on Unreal Engine 4 for more stability and less restrictive technological limits. The team is currently working on a game prototype that is expected to be submitted to Steam Greenlight in about two weeks. They also hope to launch a Kickstarter campaign within a month’s time.

liked arma 3 mod of this played it a lot unreal engine 4 though

Its going to try and follow the footsteps of DayZ. DayZ did well because of some great streamers and youtubers behind it who still play now. Breaking Point is good but I don't think it is enough of "the" arma3 mod to do well.

not really dayz did well because it came at the right time and it was fresh. it was at first simple and very good to play.

then hype rolled it along.

if you know anything about the guys who make breaking point they kinda the opposite to dayz.

it would be great to play basically the walking dead on pc with as many people as we can on a server which is what most want but unreal 4 engine does some stuff so bad.

Sweet they are finally dropping the arma engine, fingers crossed it goes well for them.
