Hi guys, just saw a breaks set and it completely blew me away! I've got Fabric live - Stanton Warriors and would love to hear more like this so please give me some quality examples to have a look at :)

Cheers!

Stanton Warriors released 3x mix cd's - Stanton Sessions Vol.1,2,3.

There are also loads of FabricLive cd's. One of my fav's being FABRICLIVE01: James Lavelle.

Few other artists to look up are Plump DJ's, Evil Nine, James Lavelle , Elite Force, Meat Katie and an old fav of mine Adam Freeland!

Stanton Warriors - Stanton Sessions 3 is amazing, one of my favourite breaks albums.

Elite force had an album recentish which is also really good

I dont know much about Breaks music but I found a couple of Breakspoll albums/complications.

Liked Volume 1.
Volume 2, meh,
Volume 3, ok.

Also Annie Knightingale's radio 1 show is breaks based, which often features a few gems.

As a massive breaks fan i welcome you to the crew. I have a breaks section on my ipod consisting of near enough 1000 tunes now so should you wish to ask any questions do fire away buddy.

I'm not a fan of fabriclive cds. However i'd have given anything to get hold of a copy of stereo-type's 6 deck mix. Saw them when they come down to Plymouth, as dj-ing skills go i found they obliterated some of the others present at the time. The drum and bass djs that came down the following night were hopeless in comparsion however chase and status did give them a run for their money the following week.

Good set of recommendations, not a fan of freeland's new album however.
just to add a few more recommendations for artists:

Stereo-type (as mentioned above)
Future Funk Squad
Ed solo & Skool of Thought
Slyde
Atomic Hooligan
Deekline & wizard
Drumattic Twins
General Midi
Groove Diggerz
Kraft Kuts
Rico Tubbs
Soul of Man
Shut up and Dance
Rogue Element (recent album is very electro house however)
Splitloop
The Body Snatchers
The Crystal Method

Annie Nightingale show is ok but is not a dedicated breaks show anymore, too much dubstep and drum and bass involved now. Fabio and grooverider should be left to deal with DnB. It's a shame they stopped the Jay Cunning show on Kiss100 as that was a great source of tunes.

Im on the hunt for this artists as well.

Also yeah i agree to an extent about Annie Nightingale show, you can tell generally at the beginning that it features the type of music from the previous show (kissy sell out's show, which i dont mind).
But definitely at the end, the mainstream rubbish tends to get played which is where i switch off.

But the middle as mentioned has the odd decent bit of breaks.

Also on that list, i found a couple of sets from Kraft Kuts which are quite impressive.

All the artists i listed up there have artist albums out not just mix sets, well worth the investment.

Annie Nightingale's show on the iplayer is pretty good this week, specimen A in the mix. pretty good (check it out quickly her show is today so this episode will get replaced quick)

I missed some huge names from that list too

Hybrid

Specimen A
Pyramid
