Funny you should say that but 6 have been safely delivered to these shores this morning from a small boat off Dover by a border force cutter.
Just the same as we do now you mean?
Or is there some secret EU legislation I am unaware of that says we can only employ EU nurses?
There is no positive discrimination to take on EU over UK or foreign workers unless I am mistaken... in fact I believe that would be illegal.
More places because we reduce immigration?, places for what for who?
The rest of the world can't just come and work in the UK like people from the EU can, they need to get permission and a visa to work here, and we have to restrict how many of these we give out.
Grr the UK is **** and can’t achieve anything without Brussels grrr.![]()

Where are you getting your news from? While what you say above is correct, the back story you have to the poor people who drowned off Camber Sands was a fabrication. Where did the rumour start and why?

Five (or six) people did die off Camber Sands yesterday. There's still something a bit odd about this story - the police are being very quiet.
On the topic of the US presidential campaign, Blair said many of the issues in focus mirror those in Europe. He lamented that the centre ground in politics is “under attack” from “populism” and “insurgent movements” from the left and right.
As a result of this, Blair noted common ground between the centre-right and centre-left, stating: “I think the single most important political distinction today is actually between open-minded versus closed-minded, and that’s why I think this crosses the boundaries of traditional — centre-right and centre-left have much more in common with each other right now than the right does with the centre-right, and the left does with the centre-left.”
Blair described this situation as “the inevitable political challenges of globalisation”. He acknowledged that opposition to open borders and free trade will be “incredibly difficult to deal with” but that the “revolution” must go ahead.
The former Prime Minister admitted globalisation hurts living standards in the West but praised the process and his own part in it.
So much foaming at the mouth about immigrants. Leavers constantly like to remind Remainers that immigration isn't the main reason they voted Leave. Yet I don't see much evidence for that here at the moment. Guess it doesn't take much for the pretence to slip.

Tony Blair: Immigration is good for the UK.
Funny I thought there was an "expert" consensus that immigration doesn't lead to lower living standards...
So you take the term globalisation to mean dem immigrants is coming?
Globalisation = no borders, export jobs, anti-democracy.
