Bricked my router, anyway to save it ?

I've read that the latest DG834GT official firmware has a lot of problems with it, and that the previous firmware version is the best one. Try downgrading the DGTeam firmware to the one before the newest?

I had a 1.02.16 Version of the 743 dgteam firmware then upgraded to the 848 the other day and could not play demigod at all without severe lagging and lockups...

So I downgraded to some other 743 dgteam firmware, and it was not stable for me! I can't for the life of me find 1.02.16 743 firmware so I have just installed the stock netgear 1.02.14 which works fine...

However I want the dgteam advanced adsl settings as I managed to squeeze an extra 1.5mbit download from snr tweaking.

You can use DMT Tool (v8.07) with the special login tick box selected and the experimental modes unlocked to do the SNR tweaking but with the stock firmware it won't be saved between router reboots... you need the DGTeam firmware to save it :S

thanks for the tip, tweaking my snr gets me from about 15.5 to 16.8-17mbit so it's really worth it for me
