Hi all
need some advice/thoughts

I am very much an amateur with cameras and am on a budget...I want a Bridge camera and am looking at either a Nikon l820 or maybe a Fuji model like a s4500...any one have any views on these or maybe recommend another...my budget is £130 max

thanks

If you're due an upgrade, you may be better off with an iphone 5s.
Failing that, an OLD dslr would perform better. Better yet get a 35mm film camera. 35mm film will produce images WAY WAY WAY better pictures than a bridge camera.

Bridge cameras are basically junk. Buying a bridge camera would be like buying a car with go faster stripes and actually thinking the stripes will help you go faster.

Thanks for this but I am not looking for a phone....I want a cheap bridge camera for general pics for when I am out some where or on holiday.....as I said I have a budget of £130 max....

I don't want "old" and certainly don't want a film camera...just a camera that I can connect to my pc and save all my pics too that has a good quality picture for my max price range

The Nicon L820 has great reviews and I thought this would be a good option and I can get it for £119...has anyone on these forums got it and could tell me if it is any good

thanks again

out of those 2 i'd say the s4500

any particular reason for saying this...as when I ran a comparison the nicon had many more features and only lacked the manual viewer...and also gets a 5 rating in reviews compared to a 4 for the Fuji...would be interesting to know the difference

my previous camera is a Fuji S5700...hence my desire to get something of a similar design/type

thanks
