Hey guys,

Im looking for a dumb bridge modem that specifically has a broadcom chip in it.
As it will just be acting as the link to internet I don't need wireless nor want it.

But finding just a stand alone device that has a broadcom chip is nigh on impossible.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

You could pick up an old DG834 GT from the bay and disable wifi and DHCP
That said these are getting a bit long in the tooth now so maybe do the same with a newer router???

or get a dgn 2200v3, you can get amod 3rd part firmware (not the official) on it & so you can tweak the snr as well, you may need to disable wifi or dhcp but i think with amod has build in bridge mode, amod has add & ipv6 even the modem is really old
