Is it possible to bridge 2 wifi routers to increase wi-fi range? At the moment I have the internet hooked up to a Netgear DG834G v4. Im planning on moving it right next to the master socket in the house to cut down on phone extension cables. But this would mean that the wi-fi signal was weaker in the other side of the house. Is is possible to link another router (The Thomson one that comes with O2 broadband) either with cable or wirelessly?

I know in my wireless access point (Linksys) I can change in the wireless settings to bridged mode. So just hunt around in your wireless settings on the second router.

Surely you should be able to connect the Thompson to the Netgear via CAT5 n/w cable, enable the wireless on the Thompson (DHCP would probably not need to be disabled..) and connect to it via wireless/cable....
