Bridging PSU

Just a quick question, when bridging the PSU for leak testing do you leave the CPU 4 or 8 Pin unplugged? I guess you would right as it could cause the motherboard to die?

Generally best to unplug everything.

So basically just have the pump plugged in? suppose its easier ha
