I have a Nortel Switch which has 2 VLANS configured (14 and 15), and a Dell Switch which has 2 VLANS configured, 10 and 16.

Can anyone talk me through getting vlan 10 to be able to communicate with the other VLANS, and Visa versa.

I'm no network engineer and really struggling.

Thanks

to communicate between different VLAN's you need to go via a router (unless both your existing switches are layer 3)

Depends if your Dell switch is Layer-3 or not... otherwise yes you will need a router to route the packets from one VLAN to another.
