What are the rules regarding bringing food into airport/aeroplane? I know you cant bring liquids like drinks etc in hand luggage but can you bring crisps and cereal bars from home?
I know you can get ripped off at duty free like at a cinema so was wondering on what rules are for aeroplanes and airports?

If you take crisps, put a pinhole in the bag to let the air out, otherwise they blow up like balloons in the cabin pressure.
Lol didnt know about that thanks.
Was looking to take some Doritos big bags with us. Dunno what the rules are in greece but they probably get polished off on the plane.
Shame cant take peanuts those would keep me going.

Food is fine aslong as it's consumed before you depart the aircraft as some countries have strick rules on what can be brought in. Any left overs we leave on the plane.
Should have mentioned my destination is greece so not sure what rules apply there but wont be taking too much, just enough to finish on the plane. Chocolate chip cookies allowed?

Also are power banks allowed these days on aeroplane?
