Hi, just got this game but it seems to be underperforming on my system:

Q6600 @ 3GHZ, 4GB RAM, XFX 6870 1GB 950 Core/1200 Mem

My average fps is about 40 with minimum in the 30 region, does that sound right?

I read on a forum updating gpu bios worked for some people, didn't mention my card in particular though and looking on the xfx website there is no bios download in the downloads section.

I did find a bios update for the card on another forum but you'd think they would post it on their own website if it did any good. Apparently it fixes a "stuck clocks" issue which I don't have.

I tried a brink fps config tool and changed some settings to low but that hasn't helped at all. Infact I can't see any visual difference, I did change the FOV with it though and that made a difference to the fov so I think the tool works.

Any suggestions guys, is this just a bad pc port.

Main problem for me is the slow movement in the game, they tried to make it a fluid game but running is just too slow.

It does feel like youre slightly detached, not a bad game overall though and I'm not certain why it gets such a bad rep.

In a year when Battlefield 3 has come out it does feel somewhat underpar.
