Brink, mouse freezing intermittently.

Hi.

I really am trying to get the most out of this Brink free weekend. I am enjoying the concept of the game but am having an issue that is really taking the fun out of the game play.

In game, every minute or so, the mouse will freeze up for literally a second. Not allowing me to look around or fire. It always happens at the most inconvenient times and is spoiling it for me a tad.

Specs are;

AMD 965 @4.0, 4GB, Xfire 5870's, W7 X64, Roccat kone, Roccat avro.

All drivers are completely up to date.

Any ideas ?

Have you tried another mouse, to narrow it down to possibly being a fault with the mouse?

I will try but I don't have a problem in the other 26 games that I play.

Well, if not, try checking the settings in brink, for raw input, as i have a lot of issues with that in a few games.

I have a similar problem when browsing the net, but not as often as every min or so.

Fixed.

Plugged mouse directly into the computer as opposed to the Roccat Apuri dongle.

Trying to figure out if the games worth £14 now...

can get from amazon for £8 activates on steam.
