Anyone found them in a supermarket yet? I've been looking everywhere for them. I know you can make them, but for convenience, I'd prefer to buy them ready made.

M&S had 'Ultimate Burger Buns' in all stores over the summer, and I think they still carry them in the larger Food Halls now.

Basically a butter and egg-enriched bun, or in other words a brioche. And very tasty they were too.

the M&S ones are a seasonal product apparently and won't be in shops again until next summer - I have seen an appeal on twitter to pester m&s about it!!
apparently asda and Tesco's do them but they are not as good (only heard that, no first hand experience) - info from james vs burger fb page!

The swines!

I could have sworn I saw them in the Camberley M&S when I was there last. Must have been mistaken.

Have you ever seen them in-store? All my local-ish Tesco branches just have the ticket on the shelf-edge and a 'Temporarily Out Of Stock' label on there permanently.

Bloody annoying!

I buy them every other week and they're always there :)

Quite a few of them have them now. I've had Tesco, Asda and Marks and Spencer Brioche buns. To be bluntly honest, the best bun I have found for burgers is a Warburtons standard white bun. Unless you are making HUGE things, they will take a decent sized patty plus some toppings and remind me of In and Out burger buns from California/Nevada
