Hi

I've just got hold of an Brisbane 3600 x2 and an AC Freezer pro, but the temps that are being reported in coretemp/everest etc are different to what's being reported in the bios. Speeds are still at stock at present.

With the AC64 at 2krm it shows 38-40c in the bios and around 10-14c on each core in coretemp etc.

With the AC64 at 1krpm I get 40-44 in the bios and around 20c per core in coretemp.

Which one of these should I believe? The coretemp scores look surprisingly low, and the bios scores look too high considering I haven't overclocked at all. Any ideas?

Yeah am using v0.95 now. There doesn't seem to be more than a 1-2 c difference between idle and load to be honest. I'm not massively concerned about the issue, because I have faith in AMD chips running pretty cool in general, and especially with the 65nm process, but I'm not too keen on having a crack at clocking it until I can get an accurate reading of the heat it's generating.

Ta for your help
