I tried getting hold of knip to ask this but it seems she's gone awol/is ignoring me!

Anyway I want to get some tickets to see Bristol City v Hull City for my dad's birthday present (he's originally from Hull). It's the last game of the season and tickets don't go on public sale until Feb. I've never bought football tickets before so I just wanted some advice as to what stand/row etc would be the best, and whether a member's able to buy them for me or not.

Thanks in advance :)

I'd imagine that you will get tickets on the day unless the **** are in contention for promotion.

Well if you want the best view (IMO) then right on the halfway line is a good bet. Gives you a great view of the whole pitch.

Or if you prefer the atmosphere, somewhere behind the goal is best. This is usually where all the singers gather.
Be warned though if you chose behind the goal there's a good chance your view will be blocked if the people in front of you want to stand up and sing.

This is just from my experience so other people may prefer different views.

Is it just a first-come first-served basis on the day or do the tickets have seat numbers? Looking at the website that'd be the Atyeo and Dolman stands for the halfway line.

End of season games in general are usually well attended at most teams so I would ensure you buy tickets in advance.
