As usual no real shockers.

Makes me laugh in adverts (I think Jack Johnson's is one) where it says "So good it's been nominated for x Brit Awards."

Oh really. That good is it. Well I must hasten to the shops with a handful of cash

The fact that I own In Between Dreams is, of course, irrelevant :o

but coldplay should win any award with "best british band" as the title

If I invited Coldplay round for a cuppa, they wouldn't be the best British band in my house. :p

No shocks. Shame James Blunt has won anything though.

^Was worth quoting.

Funny how U2's album has been nominated twice in 2 years... And Bjork gets nominated every year it seems, for doing....what?

Bjork is one of the few female solo artists that can do a huge array of styles and can pull it off imho. I think she is fantastic. Plus she is icelandic so therefore quite insane and always a laugh to watch on telly. :p
