Britain and US political relations

Im doing some uni work and remember a reading a word that described the relationship between the US and UK but can't remember what it is. It was something along the lines of Anglo-something.

Does anyone have any ideas? I've tried google but with no joy.

Are you sure its not Anglo-American relations your looking for? i linked to the wiki page and it does appear to be the thing your after. :confused:

I had a read of that site and it does sound like what I was after but it doesn't sound like the right word. Might be my mind playing though.

It was 'Atlanticism'. Don't quite know where I got Anglo- from!? Also noticed my description didn't match the real definition very well.
