Britain's Got talent

a bit late i know, but im still really angry at that andrew johnston for ruining "tears in heaven", he sang it all wrong with no articulation. he ruined a song about a guys dead son - how could he!!

he is a good singer, but no one can sing that song like clapton, and no one should ever try as they won't be able to put the same emotion into it.

im suprised no judges told him that his song choice was poo - they were happy doing it to everyone else!
 
Why dont they just name this show "Britains got the X-Factor"

2 singers going through is ridiculous, one a show fair enough, but two, where's the variety?

The Scottish bloke wasn't even all that good

Dont get me wrong on this, because he is also my favourite out of all the acts and I do hope he wins.

But his semi final performance was a partial bite. Now it might be because I'm a dancer and a breakdancer at that, so biting is pretty much off the cards (biting is copying). But he got a lot of appraise for that performance (which granted was great) when the whole premise and remix of the song was done for a VW Golf advert. I dont know, just it didnt feel original to me. The advert was fantastic and I loved it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1n_Pdi5qAv8).

Still, if your going to copy something might as well copy something awesome and perform it to a degree worthy of its awesomeness, George to win!

Difference is, the moves in the Ad were done digitally.
 
I am shocked that they are putting so many singers through, especially as last year was won by.... (a wannabe bus driver when he was younger) Paul Potts.

Thats not true. They had a series of breakdancers perform the moves (Dave Elsewhere was definitely one of them) and were filmed, which were then digitally modified to look like Gene Kelly.

George Sampson didn't do anything new in his Semi-Final, and he isn't that good. There has been a lot more dance acts which have been better than him, just he's got the 'sob story' of missing out last year to get him votes.

While what you say is wrong, you do inadvertently bring up a good point, the moves in the advert were performed by 3 breakdancers and two poppers, one of which was David Elsewhere I believe.
