Britannia Stadium - Parking?

There's car parks around the stadium, think it's around £5-£10 but the wait coming out is around half an hour to an hour.

You can park a bit further away (for free) but that is around a 15 minute walk, Fenton area near where OCUK used to be based.

I know where the OcUK place was.

Taking a look on google maps now.

Thanks.

Park on the street that Overclockers used to be on and its about a 15 minute walk, if you park near the stadium you won't get off the car park for an hour if you're lucky.

Close to the A50 then so you'll be away in no time.

Another vote for parking on the 18 yard line :D

From a disgruntled Stoke fan.

Thanks.

Heard many stories about parking tickets around the stadium.

What crowd would you expect Stoke to have tonight?

Although I am sitting with the Wigan fans, I am kind of a neutral. Just wanted to see a game which was fairly local and it was my night off work.

I do have a soft spot for Wigan though.

The main road and the little side street near to the old home of overclockers is where a lot of Stoke fans park as it's the closest to the ground you can get without paying / getting stuck in traffic!

Probably around 25,000 (ish), no doubt it'll be dull with not much going on and Wigan will probably snatch the win but that's a different story ;)

I was optimistic with the summer signings but after watching the team play this year its just as bad as ever!

Will try to park down there, if no spaces, I will just pay the fiver and park at the one near the Stadium.

I want to see Wigan stay up so a win would be good, but the clocks have not gone back yet so who knows.

I also have a mate who is a Villa fan so a Wigan win would be very welcome :)

ROFL.

You needed more than a car on the 18 yard line ;)

Second half was 90% Wigan, probably more. And they played some good football, to the point where the home fans were really getting the hump.

I think Wigan just about deserved 3 points on the second half performance alone.

Meat and potato pie was actually rather good, not hot, but warm enough. £2.80, so not overly priced as football pies go.

PS

Parking was awesome, thanks to all who helped.

I parked opposite a school I think it was.

15-20 minute walk as advised.

I had to laugh on the way back, just 15 minutes listening to these Stoke fans chuntering about throwing away the 2-0.
